Primary Agenda Topic: RTP 3.0: New Housing & Mixed-Use Opportunities in Research Triangle Park

Description: After nearly five years of planning, RTP Foundation has adopted RTP 3.0 - a 50-year framework that, for the first time, allows residential and mixed-use development alongside its research campuses across the Park's 7,000 acres. The new standards significantly loosen density restrictions and open a Residential Neighborhood Development option (currently limited to 500 total acres) plus residential within Mixed-Use Nodes. Applications governed by RTP Development Code and new Design Guidelines plus administrative review by Durham or Wake County.
