If you’ve not heard the news, our HBA is partnering with The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro on our Government Affairs activities to share a staffer who is going to be an amazing addition to our team!
Please join me and the Chamber for a Meet and Greet reception to welcome Ian Scott and give him a chance to meet you and you to meet him. Pop in whenever you please, we're keeping it informal.

A bit about Ian (Chamber Press Release): He headed up Government Relations for the Charleston (SC) Metro Chamber where he focused on affordable housing and transit and was formerly President of the Beaufort (SC) Chamber. Prior to that he spent a decade leading public policy and communications for ACCE, the Chamber profession’s national association. He began his career at the American Chamber in Shanghai, China. He’s Tar Heel by birth and education, and he and his wife Rebecca are thrilled to be back home.
Ian will be bringing to the HBA DOC a focused daily effort to advance our housing priorities. We're talking about the nitty-gritty stuff: land use policy, housing supply and affordability, and making sure our industry concerns are heard in local governments.
