Orange Co. Habitat for Humanity is having their 2020 Women Build October 23rd and we are joining in on the efforts!
An abundance of care will be taken for the safety of all participates.
Please read important updates regarding their policies:
- Everyone must sign up online for the builds
- Registration closes 24 hrs before the build to allow prep and planning
- The day before the shift, volunteers will be emailed a screening assessment which is required prior to volunteering
- There will be a lunch break where volunteers have the option to eat offsite or distanced in the shade onsite
- Everyone is required to wear a mask onsite. Plan to bring extras to change into throughout the shift!
- Plan to bring lots of water, as they no longer have shared water coolers onsite
- Limit the number of folks onsite to ensure distancing is possible
- Sanitize all tools
- Ensure masks are worn at all times aside from water breaks and lunch
