Company Overview 

Revel Build Co is a growing residential remodeling company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional client experiences. We specialize in custom home renovations, additions, and full-scale remodeling projects. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team and oversee on-site production. 

Position Summary 

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the job site, performing high-level finish and structural carpentry, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent technical skills, strong leadership, intentional teaching, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and the field/project management team. 

Key Responsibilities 

Production and Carpentry 

● Execute all phases of residential carpentry work, including framing, structural modifications, interior/exterior trim, cabinet installation, and hardware installation. 

● Perform finish carpentry tasks with precision, ensuring flawless detail work and seamless integration of materials. 

● Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and procedures. 

● Ensure all work complies with current building codes, regulations, and safety standards. 

Site Management and Leadership 

● Manage and coordinate the workflow on the job site, delegating tasks to other carpenters and laborers. 

● Teach and share the knowledge of carpentry and building skills, codes, innovations and insights to assistant carpenters with the full intention of building them into strong future lead carpenters. 

● Supervise and work alongside subcontractors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to the project schedule. 

● Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times. 

● Track and document daily progress, labor hours, and materials used in BuilderTrend. 

● Proactively identify potential project delays or issues and communicate them to the Field/Project Manager. 

Communication and Client Interaction 

● Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor in line with Revel Build’s brand values. 

● Communicate daily with the Field/Project Manager regarding site progress, material needs, and any changes. 

● Conduct site meetings with subcontractors and inspectors as necessary. 

Qualifications 

Required Experience and Skills 

● Minimum of 7 years of professional carpentry experience in residential remodeling. 

● Proven experience leading a small team of carpenters or serving as a site foreman. 

● Verifiable experience delivering high-end, custom residential remodels and additions. 

● Expert-level knowledge of all phases of residential construction and remodeling techniques. 

● Exceptional finish carpentry skills, including custom trim, cabinet fitting, and window/door installation. 

● Ability to read and accurately interpret construction blueprints and specifications. 

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. 

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

Preferred Qualifications 

● OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is a plus. 

● Familiarity with BuilderTrend construction management software.
