Event Description:
The Parade of Homes is a wonderful opportunity for the public to tour the latest and greatest in new home construction. We anticipate approximately 50-75 homes will be on the tour throughout Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties in all price ranges and styles.

Be a part of this FREE for the public event to showcase your new home construction! The Parade of Homes will increase traffic to your home! The Parade is promoted via a strong advertising campaign including radio, newspaper, mobile apps, website and social media.
 
Location:
Any newly constructed home located in Durham, Orange & Chatham (DOC), built by a member company of the Home Builders Association of DOC, is eligible to be in the Parade. The home must be unoccupied and available for touring all 3 weekends of the Parade. If the home sells before the Parade, we will make a notation in the book if time allows and provide you with signage indicating the home is not open to the public. If your home is incomplete when Parade starts, it is up to the Builder to provide adequate signage indicating the home is not open to the public.

Fees/Admission:
The Final Deadline is July 16 and entries are $2,250 if received by this deadline.
​The Birthday House Deadline is July 16 and Birthday Entries are $1,500 if received by this deadline.
There is a special rate for “Birthday Houses” (homes that have been entered in previous years’ Parade of Homes). ANY HOUSE (MODEL HOME OR SPEC HOME) THAT HAS BEEN ENTERED IN A PREVIOUS PARADE WILL NOT BE JUDGED. A home may only be entered in a total of two (2) Parade of Homes.
