Please enter your price: The price must be from $25.00 to $5,000.00 Qty: The Summer Careers Academy will be an eight-week trades training pre-apprenticeship program that will launch in the summer of 2022. The program will serve at least ten local youth and we are putting an extra focus on recruiting students who have traditionally faced barriers to accessing successful career pathways, including refugees, low-income students, and students of color. The program will include free in-classroom instruction for the students as well as paid work experiences. The classes will be taught in the construction lab at Orange High School and the paid work experience will be with local employers, hopefully several of you! We are seeking financial support and engagement from employers with construction trades job opportunities, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and HVAC.
